Reiki Certification Courses
Lauren offers certification in traditional Usui Reiki. Reiki certification courses are offered both in-person and online by Lauren in small groups. The maximum number of participants per course is 8. A printed manual and certificate is provided with each in-person course. A digital manual and certificate will be provided to online course participants. Reiki Level 1 (Shoden)
This introductory course will provide students with a basic understanding of Reiki, its history and lineage, the five precepts of Reiki, and how to do Reiki self-healing sessions. Students will learn the basic Reiki hand positions, the technique of Byosen (auric scanning), as well as working with the chakras and the human energy field. The first Reiki attunement is provided, which initiates students into the healing modality of Reiki. The Reiki 1 attunement will open up the student's Reiki channel, and they will begin to be able to channel Universal life-force energy. It will not only propel the student forward on their path of self-healing, but will also "upgrade" their energy and cultivate deeper self-awareness and spiritual understanding.

Prerequisite: Students are required to receive a Reiki session with Lauren prior to commencing the course. This applies to both in-person and online students, and sessions can be done in-person or online. This is optional for students who have already had a Reiki session with Lauren. A discount will be applied to pre-course Reiki sessions for students who have registered and paid for their course in full.
Course length: One day (approximately 6-7 hours of instruction).

Reiki Level 2 (Chuden)
This course deepens students’ knowledge and understanding of the Reiki healing system. The main focus of Level 2 is learning how to give both in-person and distance healing sessions to others. Students will receive the first three Reiki symbols and learn how to use them in healing sessions. The course includes both theoretical and practical components. Students will receive their second Reiki attunement. The Level 2 Reiki attunement will deepn and expand the student's journey into self-healing and spiritual development, and will increase the power of the universal life-force energy that they are able to channel.

Course length: One day (approximately 7-8 hours of instruction).
Reiki Master-Practitioner (Okuden)
In this course, students will complete their knowledge of the Reiki healing system at the practitioner level. Students will receive the Master’s symbol, along with three other non-traditional symbols to deepen their Reiki practice. The traditional Japanese technique of meditation, cleansing, and activation called Hatsurei Ho is also taught. This technique cleanses the energy body and increases the flow of Reiki. Crystals are also discussed in this course, including how to integrate them into treatments and use them for energetic cleansing and protection. The third attunement is provided. It is with the completion of this course that students are encouraged to begin a professional Reiki practice.

Course Length: Two days (approximately 8 hours of instruction)
Reiki Master-Teacher (Shinpiden)
In this final course, students will learn how to pass Reiki attunements and will receive the final symbol needed to initiate their own students into the system of Reiki. A review of all content from previous levels will be provided, and students will learn how to teach each level. Students will also receive hands-on practice in passing attunements. The course will also touch upon some practical considerations regarding becoming a Reiki Master-Teacher, and students will receive all instructional materials needed to teach their own classes.
